CREATIVE MOVEMENT FOR THE YOUNG DANCER
This class will explore rhythm, music, movement, and coordination to create the fundamentals of all dance styles. Each week the children will progress on the knowledge from the prior class and add one new concept. Different styles of music, as well as the introduction of \"props,\" will be introduced each week to enhance creative options. By the end of the semester many of the \"building blocks\" of dance will be in place to help the children to decide which dance discipline to pursue for the future. The class will culminate in an expressive and creative dance performance for their parents and their peers.
