Class: Physics for 3d-4th graders and for 5th-6th graders

Schedule:
Time: Wednesday 5:30-6:30 for 3d-4th graders; 7:00-8:00 for 5th-6th graders
Dates for classes: May 13, 20, 27 June 3, 10, 17, 24 Total 7 classes
Cost: Cost for the course $ 140
• Every class will have at least one hands-on experiment, which we can use to discuss what we observe and learn to think like scientists. We will learn about electricity, by building electric testing equipment and experimenting with magnets. We will also study geometric optics, and investigate how everyday objects like shadows, mirrors, and your glasses work. Last we will learn about sound: how it travels, and how to build your own instruments that make sound

Let’s plant the seeds for a future world traveler
Geography for 3d-4th graders:: Students are introduced to the
fundamentals of Geography: Physical, Location, Movement, and Region. We will eusing
videos, interactive games, class discussions and creative assignments.
Geography for 5th-6th gr: Students will dive into the deeper
branches of Geography: Economical, Human, and
Biogeographical. Students will perform higher-level
thinking, connect key global events and have philosophical discussions.
Students will be introduced to the National Geographic Bee,
shows/online games like “Where in the World is Carmen San Diego” and
“Risk
