I was born and raised in Vladimir, Russia. I received my degree in Modern Languages and teaching English and German as a second language from the Vladimir State Pedagogical University.

During my teaching career I have taught English as a second language and Russian as a foreign language on the collegiate level. Last year I had a chance to teach Russian 2 and 3 at School Plus at Stony Brook. It was an enjoyable and new experience for me, since I had worked only with adults before. I welcome the opportunity to continue teaching at School Plus because, I love teaching languages, I like communicating and exchanging ideas with my colleagues, and it is exciting to be a part of a Russian community.
