Goal as an Educator: "My primary goal in teaching mathematics is to sharpen the critical thinking ability of my students regarding three areas: conceptual understanding, creative problem solving, and math skill acquisition. Ignoring any aspect of this triumvirate results in an unbalanced math education. I address a wide range of issues in my classroom by differentiating my core instruction to meet the needs of each of my students. The purpose of my teaching math in general is to help produce independent problem solvers."
