SchoolPlus: Manhattan, North Brunswick, Teaneck and Marlboro
Dear Parents and Students,
We received an e-mail from MOEMS (Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle Schools) today, and we are elated at the news they gave us. You know that MOEMS is the series of Olympiad contests our students took throughout this school year.
The cut off scores for the gold and silver pin and teams were announced, and SchoolPlus Manhattan, North Brunswick, Teaneck and Marlboro have 4 students with a perfect score (25 out of 25), 9 students winning the gold pin (23-24) and 21 students winning the Silver pin (18-22 out of 25).
We have two teams and team scores are 237 and 205 with cut off 197!
We couldn’t be more thrilled at your success in this famous Olympiad. It’s a very special achievement, because to become a winner you must perform consistently, not on just one Olympiad, but on 5 of them. And as you’ve seen, you must show your knowledge and skill in many different areas of mathematics.
While we are proud of your mathematical performance and the credit you bring to SchoolPlus, we want you to know that our feelings go beyond that. We have known many of you for a long time now. Many of you have been with us since you first started school!! We’ve watched you grow through the years. So our feelings of pride in your accomplishment are all the more strong, given the affection and fondness we have for all of you.
