Q: What is the story of SchoolPlus?
A: SchoolPlus opened it's doors for the first time in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1995. It was founded by Dr. Olga I. Fookson. Currently, SchoolPlus has fourteen branches in the Tri-State Area.
Q: Where are the Manhattan SchoolPlus classes held?
A: All classes are held in Union Theological Seminary, 3041 Broadway, New York 10027
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Please see our schedule for more details.
Q: What is your maximum class size?
A: Our class size varies between 5 to 14 students.
Q: What age children do you teach?
A: The age of our students ranges from 3 to 15 years old.
Q: What is the registration process?
A: All interested parents, please register online at school-plus.com. Registration is free. When registering, you will be asked to choose subjects, not classes; we will then create a suggested schedule for your child based on the subjects you chose, your child's age, level and other information you provided.
Q: Are the classes taught in English?
A: All classes, with the exception of language courses are taught in English.
Q: What is your Math curriculum?

Q: Do you participate in any Competitions?
A: Yes. Our school participates in the MOEMS Math Olympiad and SchoolPlus Math Olympiad. We are also in the process of starting a monthly Chess Tournament at the Queens location. Stay tuned for more news on Chess Tournaments.
Q: My child missed a class. How will we know what to prepare for homework?
A: Homework is a very important part of our program, it is checked each week. We strongly urge you to work with your children during the week, to make sure that they come prepared for the lesson. Our teachers post all homework assignments on our online site at www.school-plus.com. All registered students/parents can access their homework by going to their class in the schedule and entering their last name as a password to HW. Please contact us if you have any difficulties

Q: What are your tuition rates?
A: All classes are priced according to the length of class. The classes are:
$21/45 minutes
$28/60 minutes
$32/75 minutes
$42/90 minutes
*If there are financial specific circumstances, please speak with us privately.
Q: Can I pay per class or month by month?
A: No, our payment schedule is split into two installments, we ask that you pay for half of the semester each time.
Q: Do you provide any discounts?
A: Yes, we offer a 10% discount for younger siblings.
Q: Are there any other costs?
A: SchoolPlus purchases textbooks directly from Singapore Math to sell to our students.
If you are taking Art class with us, there is a fee for supplies.
