Lawrence Lane has a BA and an MA in American History from SUNY/Albany and a JD from SUNY/Buffalo. He has over 22 years as an attorney and lecturer on various areas of law. He has spent over ten years preparing high school students and teams in New York and New Jersey for Mock Court competitions, as well as being a judge at competitions in New York and Connecticut. In his daily work, he employs critical writing skills and analysis in legal work brought before state and federal courts for the advocacy of clients, and often must orally advocate before judges and panels. He is teaching three classes geared to three different grade levels, on these skills, aimed at preparing for the upcoming SAT exam schedule.
