Manhattan, NY; Math, 4, 5, 5-6
Brooklyn, NY: Bensonhurst (24 Ave and Cropsey Ave); Math, 4, 5 - 6

I graduated from the Moscow State University with the Master of Science degree in Mathematics. Later, I earned Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at Central Economic-Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

I have worked as an Associate Professor of Math and Computer Science for over 15 years in Moscow. After moving to New York, I worked as a Math Teacher in a private math school teaching 3rd and 4th grades. I also did a lot of private tutoring for children of different ages, from elementary through the high school level.

I believe that studying math from very early age helps to significantly improve the child's intellectual potential. Mathematics is a queen of all sciences. It helps develop sharpness of thinking, memory, concentration, logical thinking. I especially like to teach little kids because they are very inquisitive. During my lessons I cover all aspects of problem solving - from problem formulation in the mathematical language to writing the answer in a correct and consistent way. I always strive to make my lessons interesting, fun and varied in form. My priority is motivating kids to enjoy math the way I do.
