SUBJECT

This semester

the subjects of our tours

are going to be different for two age groups.

With my younger audience

we'll continue our studies of different kinds, genres and meanings of art.

We’ll look at portraits, genre scenes, still-lives, and landscapes of different countries and historical periods. We’ll try to figure out what this art was about: why people created it, why did they enjoy it, and why is it still interesting to us? We’ll be looking at art works very carefully, but there will be also plenty of stories to listen to.

For my older students

I would like to offer tours on artists and styles of various art periods. This semester we’ll continue into the 19th and 20th century art scene.  We’ll talk about personalities of some famous artists, and what actually made them famous, about styles and movements in art.

FEE

The fee for the series of 6 tours is

$140

All payments are due on the first day of classes.

Please pay cash or make your checks payable to the School Plus.
In the Memo part of the check please write the name of your child.

Due to the School Plus policy,
the group fees charged by the Museum, and the limited and sometimes fluctuating size of the group

we can not make any refunds.

REGISTRATION

Registration is required for everyone.

The students who attended our classes regularly over the past few years will be given priority.
